Warmer Air Just Around The Corner...
Saturday started off with most of us in the single digits. With such a low start...and southwesterly winds kicking in later in the day...we won't get anywhere near our average high temperature. But, it will be warmer than yesterday with a high in the upper 30s. No snow - no rain...just a mix of sun and clouds by afternoon.
We could see an increase in cloud cover overnight and into Sunday - this will keep our overnight temps up. A minor system is traveling rapidly and doesn't have a lot of moisture to work with as it passes by early Sunday. However, this will reinforce our shot of cold air, giving us a high of 39.
Finally, on Monday, the warm up begins! A mostly sunny sky expected Monday through Tuesday with highs in the 50s, followed by the 60s. Late Wednesday with highs in the 60s and an approaching storm system, there could be a few rain showers. Then on Thursday, showers and thunderstorms are likely.
By Friday, temperatures drop into the 40s, but we dry out.
