Ready For Another Round?
Our next wintry weather maker is sitting over the desert southwest and will quickly move in later tonight and Friday morning. This evening, around 5PM, a few flurries are possible in Kansas, West of Kansas City. Overnight, the storm moves closer and picks up in intensity. Snow will be falling pretty hard for the 5-6 AM Rush. By noon, this storm will wrap up and move away. Estimated snowfall amounts for the metro...2 to 4" with heavier amounts North of Kansas City. Easily 4" could fall in the Northland.
Saturday and Sunday will see a mixture of sun and clouds. Temperatures will reach into the middle 30s. An Arctic blast moves in just in time for the New Year. Highs Monday through Wednesday will be in the upper 20s to lower 30s. Overnight lows during this time will be in the teens...if not, single digits!
