Rain continues to fall at a heavy pace over southern Missouri...some locations have easily picked up at least a foot of rain over the last couple of days. The trend for today across the metro will be to dry out and the clouds will clear. Clouds will begin to decrease this morning from West to East. Thanks to full sunshine, we should warm into the upper 50s.

Still looks dry going into Thursday and it should get even warmer. This should be our warmest day of the next 7...highs expected to climb into the lower 60s.

By Friday, a weak disturbance passes through Nebraska and Iowa. Due to this, it will produce an increase in cloud cover across our area. And there is a slight chance for a shower North of I-70.

Stronger system comes closer this weekend...although I think southern Kansas and Oklahoma will get hit the hardest. Late on Saturday there is a chance for a rain shower, but the question is how fast does the colder air arrive. If it arrives sooner, then we could see a few flurries as late as Saturday evening. Flurries and/or light snow is possible for the Easter Egg hunts on Sunday. But, I don't expect this to be a large snowfall...heaviest amounts, if they do happen, will be South of our area.

Sunshine returns on Monday through next Wednesday. And our temperatures will inch back into the 50s and continue to warm through Wednesday.
