Off To A Great Start!
A beautiful day is in store for us this Saturday with highs in the middle 60s. A few clouds will approach the area today - but you'll still need those sunglasses!
Overnight tonight and into Sunday morning, showers will pop-up over Kansas and Nebraska. A few could linger into NE Kansas and NW Missouri by 5 AM, but they should be light. Then, the cold front will slide East through the day. By afternoon, isolated showers and a few thunderstorms could develop. This doesn't look like a big event...not much moisture and the atmosphere isn't that unstable.
Monday will stay dry around here. Out in western Kansas, I suspect storms to fire up in the afternoon...then the remnants will move East toward us Monday night and into Tuesday morning. Royals game still pegged as being dry.
Unsettled weather returns Thursday into Friday with rounds of rain.
Have a great Saturday!
